AEE INTEC is one of the leading European institutes for applied research in the field of renewable energy and resource efficiency. A number of R&D projects have been carried out in the three target group areas Buildings, Cities & Grids and Industrial Systems, as well as the three Technology Working Groups Renewable Energy, Thermal Storage and Processes. The range of completed projects ranges from basic research projects to the implementation of demonstration plants.
The coordinator made a presentation to Mr. Brunner about the university and the AlterEn project, its goals and objectives, implementation plans. The meeting was very productive in a light friendly atmosphere.
We hope that this visit will serve as a start for further cooperation between KEnEU and AEE INTEC within the framework of the EU Center of Excellence for Alternative Energy.
