The second day of Johannes Haas' visit to partner companies

On the second day of his stay at the university, Professor Johannes Haas got acquainted with the partners of the university. First of all, the professor visited the Specialized School-Lyceum Boarding School of Information Technologies "Ozat".

Thus, Director Ramazan Eleusizovich Raisov presented information about the directions of scientific work of students, including in the field of alternative energy.The lyceum school provides an in-depth program for the study of fundamental sections of the subject area, as well as robotics, modern information technologies. Their school opens up a wide range of opportunities for students to learn modern technologies: high-quality teaching of classes, realization of creative potential, education and training of graduates of a new generation - intellectually developed, thinking outside the box, leaders in their fields.

Then the visit followed to the Golden Pheasant Recreation Area. In turn, the head of the recreation center Schneider Galina Borisovna shared her own experience in the use and organization of power supply with solar panels and a wind rotor installation in a warm atmosphere.

The final point of the visit was the wind farm "Ybyray".Specialists of the wind power plant "Ybyray", said that this is the first wind power plant in the Kostanay region, the capacity of which is 50 MW.To date, 16 power plants have been installed, each with a capacity of 3.2 MW. This project is being implemented at the expense of private investments, its cost is about 26.3 billion tenge. 
As a result of the visits, possible areas of cooperation within the framework of the EU Center of Excellence in the Field of Alternative Energy were identified.
